Ninjas at Coderdojo Kinsale are encouraged to participate in coding competitions and events. There are events to suit all ages and all levels of coding experience. Because the Coderdojo Foundation and the Raspberry Pi Foundation have joined forces, we have many opportunities to participate in a range of exciting international competitions. There are lots of reasons why you should compete and present your work:

• You can collaborate with other Ninjas to create something cool
• You learn to work towards a deadline and to achieve a defined goal
• You get a chance to show off your work to a wider audience
• You may get to go somewhere interesting
• You may even win a nice prize!
